In the days where we used to meet freely and with wanton abandon, I was lucky enough to hold the book launch for my first book, Friendly Steppes, at the prestigious Royal Geographical Society in London. It was the perfect place to host such an event that launch the story of my own travels along the Silk Road.

Suffice to say it was a lovely evening amongst friends, colleagues and new faces who came to learn more about my travels and the book over a glass or two of wine.
